Broken Power Pole Impacting Traffic First Day Of Sundance

UPDATED Story HERE.

The Westbound Jeremy Ranch I-80 exit ramp was closed Thursday morning due to a broken power pole.

The broken pole is causing a power outage in the area. The outage was impacting traffic lights at Kimball Junction, but the Sheriff's Office reports now that the lights are now functional. Additionally Park City School District reports that power is back on at Jeremy Ranch Elementary. Rocky Mountain Power is working on resorting power in other areas, they estimates power will be fully restored by 6:30 pm

When traffic lights are out drivers should treat the non-working lights as four-ways stops.

The cause of the break in the pole is under investigation.
