The first confirmed case of community shared COVID-19, the Coronavirus, was reported Saturday. At a press conference held at the Utah Dept. of Health, Summit County Health Department Director Rich Bullough said if people have the option to NOT travel to Summit County, it would be wise not to. While this isn’t a formal policy, he said it is a prudent one.
Bullough said while there is no recommendation to close Park City’s two ski resorts, county officials will be meeting with ski resort representatives today to have a conversation and figure out a solution.
The Summit County Council has noticed an emergency meeting at noon today at the County Health Department.
