Fresh Tracks Friday sends May on its way with brand new music from Counting Crows, The Revivalists, Ryan Bingham, and a whole host of others. Hear it all first, right here on KPCW!

9 a.m. - Niko Moon - I LOVE THIS BEACH
Does this beautiful weather have you summer dreaming and thinking of your favorite beach? Niko Moon has a particular beach that he loves. While you listen to this song, feel free to think of your favorite beach and take a 2 minute 53 second mind vacation!

10 a.m. - Goldie Scott - Gone For Good
25 year old Goldie Scott just released her debut EP "Blind Eye." Her Instagram tells the story of a spiritual cowgirl, a 70's witch, a vintage queen, looking to cast spells with her music. Here she is, casting one you.

11 a.m. - The Revivalists - Piece of Me (Cigar Box)
The Revivalists, an eight-piece rock 'n' roll collective, has made the journey from hole-in-the-wall marathon gigs to sold-out shows at hallowed venues like Radio City Music Hall and Red Rocks Amphitheater, multiplatinum success, and numerous national television performances. Now they're coming here to this special place. The Revivalists have announced a tour stop at Deer Valley on August 29th. This is their latest release.

1 p.m. - Counting Crows - Virginia Through The Rain
Grammy and Academy Award nominated Counting Crows have been rocking the airwaves for more than two decades. Their music is known for its poetic lyrics and storytelling, often exploring themes of love, loss, and mental health. Counting Crows is performing at Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in West Valley City on August 21st. This is from their brand new album "Butter Miracle, The Complete Sweets!"

2 p.m. - Beach Fly - Feel It So (feat. The Expendables)
Beach Fly is a young band with ties to the Jersey Shore. the band members grew up with a love of the ocean and the beaches. The fly part of their name is for a particular fly that lives only on their island, known locally as "greenheads." Pesky, but particular to their place. On the band's rise, they've been able to collaborate with some more established beach-vibe groups like on this track with the Expendables.

3 p.m. - Lilly Winwood - Had To Cry Today
Lilly Winwood is an American-British singer-songwriter and guitar player with a captivating sound that fuses elements of folk, Americana, and southern rock. She was born into a musical family (the daughter of Steve Winwood), and inherited a love for singing and guitar. This is the title track from her recently-released EP "Had To Cry Today."

4 p.m. - Nicole Bernegger - Who Sees Me Like I Am
Nicole Bernegger is a Swiss soul singer who was the winner of the first season of The Voice of Switzerland back in 2013. In 2019, she formed her own recording label and gathered a seven-piece band around her vocals. Check out this track's organ, soulful vocals, and the 60's and 70's inspired groove.

5 p.m. - Taj Mahal & Keb' Mo' - Better Than Ever (feat. Wendy Moten)
In 2018, a joint album by Taj Mahal and Keb' Mo' won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album. They called themselves TajMo! If it ain't broke, don't fix it! This is from their new collaboration "Room on the Porch."

6 p.m. - Adam Melchor - The Hopefuls
Adam Melchor is a New Jersey-born, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter who creates personal folk-pop music, built around primarily acoustic arrangements and easygoing melodies. He says the inspiration for his new album "The Diary Of The Living" came from a road trip across country, thinking about his life forward and backward, about friends lost and a nephew on the way. The album came from his journal entries.

7 p.m. - Ryan Bingham - A Song For The Stone
Over the holiday weekend one of the television streaming services was running the Yellowstone series for free. I watched a while and thought, I always enjoyed Ryan Bingham's music woven into the storyline as he played the character Walker. Then I found this track from him that appeared on episode 9 last year, and was just recently released for airplay.

8 p.m. - The Takes - Take My Time
The Takes are a new folk rock group hailing from Portland, Oregon. Shaped by the Pacific Northwest and its innate, unbound rock traditions, The Takes feel most at home in the outdoors, forging songs to soundtrack scenic road trips or nights spent around campfires.

9 p.m. - Goldie Boutilier - King of Possibilities
Goldie Boutilier is a Canadian singer-songwriter. Raised on the music of Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton, Goldie’s music is noted for its cinematic quality and exploration of tragic romance, glamour, and melancholia. This is her first song on what she calls her next chapter of music.
