Wonders of the Wide Wood Web

Professor of forest ecology at the University of British Columbia, Suzanne Simard, is at the forefront of plant communication and intelligence research. She explains why trees are vital to each other and to humans. Dr. Simard explains how the nutrients and signals coming from elder trees are often the lifeblood of an entire forest.
