Park City boys soccer was knocked out in the 4A playoffs this week, while Wasatch moves to the 5A quarterfinals.

The Miners lost to Orem in the second round of the 4A Boys Soccer Championship Tuesday in a high-scoring 4-2 game. Orem will face Ridgeline in the quarterfinals.

Park City improved on last year’s finish where they lost to Uintah in the first round of championship play.

In Wasatch County, the Wasps are looking to defend their 5A state title. No. 4 Wasatch will play fifth-ranked Granger in the quarterfinals of the 5A Boys Soccer State Championship Friday.

The game starts at 4 p.m. at Wasatch High School.

Wasatch advanced to the quarterfinals with a 2-0 victory over West High School Tuesday.

Also on Tuesday, the Park City High School baseball team fell to Desert Hills 14-1, ending its chance at a 2025 state championship.
