Utah flags will fly at half-staff Thursday for Peace Officers Memorial Day.

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox has ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff Thursday in recognition of Peace Officers Memorial Day.

Flags will be lowered on government property early May 15 and return to full-staff at sunset.

During National Police Week through May 17, Peace Officers Memorial Day annually honors law enforcement officers killed or injured in the line of duty.
