The Park City Police Department was called to a burglary in progress on upper Main Street Thursday evening.
Lt. Danielle Snelson said officers found a man in the middle of Main Street “acting erratically and failing to comply with officers’ commands.”
She said the man ran from officers who used a Taser to take him into custody. Witnesses told KPCW they saw officers capture the man on lower Main Street.
Police took the man to the hospital before booking him into the Summit County jail. Arresting documents were not available as of Friday afternoon, and Snelson said the investigation is ongoing.
She said the alleged burglary was reported on the 200 block of Main Street but did not specify where or what may have been taken.
