Deer Valley Resort will conduct prescribed burns starting Thursday, Oct. 22.
The fires are part of wildfire mitigation efforts to reduce hazardous fuels.
Crews will burn slash piles in the East Village area over the next few weeks as weather conditions allow.
Residents and drivers are asked not to report smoke in the area.
