Local Speaker Series: Tim Hawkes at the Park City Library (Tues, July 11)
Park City Library and Recycle Utah are proud to present Tim Hawkes as the speaker for this Local Speaker Series. Tim Hawkes has been an advocate for preserving the Great Salt Lake for many years, both as a conservationist and as a Utah state legislator. Tim will discuss the historical highs and lows of the lake and the consequences now facing us as the shoreline shrinks including this year's record snowpack, air quality, migratory bird populations, and Utah's economy.
