Swaner EcoCener and the USU Extension-in Summit County will hold a virtual webinar March 15 at 6:00 pm on the soon emerging Uinta Ground squirrels, commonly called Potguts in Utah. These small burrowing mammals are often viewed as a garden pest, but really are important parts of our ecosystem. Hear from USU's Dr. Nicki Frey on the kinds of important roles they play; how can we protect our gardens and properties, while reducing negative impacts to our environment?
