Washakie: Through the Lens of Time is a special exhibit on loan from the University of Wyoming's American Heritage Center. It will be on display at the Kamas Valley Branch from November-December. Come and learn about Chief Washakie, an important historical figure with ties to Summit County!

The Grand Opening on November 18 will feature special guests Lucie and Feather Washakie of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe and ancestors of Chief Washakie, and Historian NaVee Vernon, who has recently published a book about Chief Washakie. Snacks and light refreshments will be served.
