Utah Department of Health released new numbers Friday afternoon about COVID-19 in the state.
There are 2,805 confirmed COVID-19 cases statewide, up 122 from Thursday. Summit County has 311 cases, up three from Thursday. Twenty-nine patients have been hospitalized. Wasatch County has 103 confirmed cases, the same as yesterday. Five have been hospitalized.
Salt Lake County has the most confirmed cases in the state at 1,456. Utah County has the second most cases in the state with 403, Summit County has the third most. 244 people have been hospitalized statewide.
UDOH says 55,771 people have been tested in Utah. 23 residents have died as a result of COVID-19, two more than the day before.
