10:00 am to Noon - Turkey Confdential
Turkey Confidential is The Splendid Table’s annual Thanksgiving show. Francis Lam takes calls and comes to the rescue of Thanksgiving cooks, kitchen helpers, and inner guests during the biggest cooking day of the year.
For 2020, due to logistical restrictions based on the COVID-19 pandemic, Turkey Confidential will be a pre-produced two-hour program and will not be taking live calls.
Noon to 1:00 pm - Alice's Restaurant
A KPCW Thanksgiving tradition since our founding in 1980, Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant is Guthrie's protest song on the Vietnam War. Alice's restaurant has been made into a movie, and has been preserved in the Library of Congress since 2017.
