MythBusters Adam Savage Comes for One Night Only
Known for his myth busting antics with partner in science, Jamie Hyneman, Adam Savage of the Discovery Channel's MythBusters isn’t bringing his creative experimentations to the Eccles Center. He does, however, promise a great time with a couple of surprises for his audience that will include a Q & A.
“I love getting up in front of audiences and taking questions about the history of MythBusters and stuff I’m working on," Savage said. "I love that interaction and conversation. The kids and engineers and scientists and science geeks who fueled MythBusters successful all those years are an amazing crowd and I just absolutely love talking to them.”
Savage plans on sharing never before seen footage from the show as well as some new things he’s working on.
“I’ve been heavily working on my new website, tested.com," Savage said. "I do a weekly podcast up there and we do tons of builds in my shop. I’ve been traveling around the world lately visiting some pretty amazing movie sets and talking to some of the artisans on them. And I’ve also been working hand in glove with the white house over the past year in promoting and pushing, making and equalizing opportunities for making to all kids all over the country.”
The show is one night only and begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are online at ecclescenter.org or calling the box office at 435-655-3114.
