Changes are underway in the Park City Mountain marketing department. There will be a consolidation of some of the marketing functions to the Vail corporate headquarters in Broomfield, Colorado.
Park City Mountain Director of Communications, Margo Van Ness told KPCW in a statement they still have a local marketing team at Park City Mountain. She says the team is led by Emily Curtis. Van Ness says that select marketing roles were impacted as it pertains to certain marketing functions. She says those functions such as product marketing, are being centralized to the corporate office.
Van Ness did not respond to KPCW’s questions about how many local jobs have been impacted by the decision to consolidate certain functions in Vail’s Broomfield corporate office.
She says they’re working with each impacted employee to discuss opportunities for them in open roles, be it at the resort level or in Broomfield.
