Watch What You're Flushing!

SBWRD

The Snyderville Basin Water Reclamation District (SBWRD) is urging homebound, toilet paper-strapped residents to think twice before flushing anything except toilet paper.

That goes for paper towels, tissues, napkins and supposedly flushable wipes! According to  Michael Luers, General Manager of the Water Reclamation District, flushable wipes are not flushable, and they are not biodegradable.  Luers is warning people that these items can cause sewer backups in their homes and wreak havoc on the wastewater system. He asks: Please don’t flush those down the toilet.
