Wednesday COVID-19 Update: Summit County Up Eight Cases, Wasatch County Up Two

Utah Department of Health released new numbers Wednesday afternoon about COVID-19 in the state.

There are 1,846 confirmed cases statewide, up 108 from Tuesday. Summit County has 273 cases, an increase of eight from Tuesday, and 21 patients have been hospitalized. Wasatch County has 82 confirmed cases, up two from the day before. Four have been hospitalized. Salt Lake County has the most confirmed cases in the state at 858. After Summit County, the county with the highest number of cases is Utah County, with 267 cases.

UDOH says 36,116 people have been tested in Utah. No more deaths were reported Wednesday. The number of fatalities remains the same as Monday, at 13.
