Park City Chamber Bureau Taps 11-Year Veteran of Red Rock Country Tourism for CEO

Jennifer Wesselhoff

The Park City Chamber Bureau has a new President and CEO: Jennifer Wesselhoff will be making the move to Park City from Sedona, Arizona, this fall.

Jennifer Wesselhoff will take over as the Chamber’s new President & CEO just before ski season starts. She is currently the President and CEO of the Arizona tourist town’s Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau.

Wesselhoff has served in this position in central Arizona’s red rock country for the last 13 years. She’ll assume the role from Bill Malone who has led the Park City Chamber for the last 21 years.

In a prepared statement, Chamber Board of Directors chairman Casey Metzger expressed gratitude for Malone’s leadership and said the board expects a seamless transition as the baton is passed between the two. Malone will remain on board until mid-October when Wesselhoff takes over.

The two have worked together previously on industry-wide projects in destination marketing. Wesselhoff has also served as President of the Destination Marketing Association of the West – a role previously held by Malone.

In Sedona, Wesselhoff led the development and adoption of the Sedona Sustainable Tourism plan – something that has been discussed here in Park City. The 2019 plan prioritizes quality of life, the preservation of the environment, economic vitality as well as the visitor experience.

Malone and Wesselhoff will be guests on the KPCW Local News Hour next Friday at 8:15 a.m.
