Deer Valley Announces Pay Raises for Employees

Deer Valley Ski Resort

Deer Valley Resort announced it is raising its minimum wage to $15 an hour, effective next week.

Wages of all hourly, non-tipped positions, both full time and part time, are included.

Staff members who were earning wages above the starting rate will also get raises.

The pay hikes take effect on Monday, July 26 and will apply to winter jobs.

Deer Valley President Jeremy Levitt said the adjustment reflects the importance of guest service, and commended staff for showing resilience over the past two years. He also noted it is an effort to help staff afford living costs in Park City.

The wage increase follows Vail Resorts, which announced a $15 minimum wage for employees in June, including those who work in Utah.
