The Wasatch County council meeting today will include a public health update and discussion on parks and recreation spending.
The meeting begins at 3:00 in the County Administration Building in Heber City. The public can attend in person or by Zoom webinar. Those who want to attend virtually can find a link to join at wasatch.utah.gov.
After the public comment period at the beginning of the meeting, county public health officials will provide a health update and annual report.
County council will also hear an update from MIDA, the state authority building the Mayflower Resort adjacent to Deer Valley. Following that, the Wasatch County Open Lands Board will report on the Mountain Spa, which is a 78-acre land campground and resort in Midway.
Interim county manager Dustin Grabau (GRAY-baw) will present a recommendation to use stimulus funding from the federal American Rescue Plan to make up for lost revenue to the parks and recreation department.
