A 10-yer-old receives a Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine during the first COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Franklin County, Ohio for children age 5-11 on Wednesday.

Starting Monday, everyone five and up will have a place to get the COVID-19 vaccine in the area.

Intermountain Healthcare will begin offering the vaccine to children ages five through 11. That follows the CDC’s recommendation last week that they can take the shots safely.

To make an appointment at a local clinic, visit intermountain.com/COVIDvaccine or call a primary care doctor. Walk-ins are welcome at the Shot Spot at the Primary Children’s Hospital Eccles Outpatient Building in Salt Lake City.
