School Boards Discuss New COVID-19 Protocols Tuesday Night

Tuesday night Park City School District and Wasatch School District will hold meetings to talk about how to safely return students to the classroom this fall.

By law, all public school districts have to post their COVID-19 plans for the 2021/2022 school year on their website by August first.

The Park City Board of Education is having a Special Regular Session at 4pm at the district offices at 2700 Kearns Boulevard. Space will be limited due to social distancing and face masks will be required. You can also watch the meeting on the school district's live stream account, which can be found on the district's website under the school board tab. (Click here.)  If you attend remotely, you must submit your comment before the meeting starts by emailing it to lpearce@pcschool.us.

According to the website, the Board of Education wants to hear live input from community members. In order to respect and preserve the time allotted to each presenter on the agenda, each speaker will be limited to three minutes.  Speakers representing a group will be limited to five minutes.

The Wasatch School District meeting will begin at 6:30pm at the Wasatch Education Center, which is 101 East 200 North, Heber City.   You may attend in person or watch it online, by clicking on a link at the district's website, which is wasatch.edu.
