Utah Department of Health released new numbers Thursday afternoon about COVID-19 in the state.
There are 6,749 confirmed COVID-19 cases statewide, up 129 since Wednesday. Summit County has 393 cases up one since Wednesday. Summit County has had 34 hospitalizations. Wasatch County has 188 confirmed cases, up three since Wednesday. Wasatch County also had an additional hospitalization for a total of nine.
Salt Lake County has the most confirmed cases in the state at 3,604. Utah County has the second most cases in the state with 1,435, Summit County has the third most. 558 people have been hospitalized statewide, although there are only 99 patients currently hospitalized.
UDOH says 160,119 people have been tested in Utah. 75 residents have died as a result of COVID-19.
