Touch A Tractor Event Comes To Midway This Weekend

Kohler Creamery

Wasatch Back residents can familiarize themselves with farm equipment this weekend. As a Heber Valley business is hosting an event called Touch a Tractor day.

The event takes this place this Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at Kohler Creamery located at 920 River Road in Midway.

Heber Valley Artisan Cheese Communications Specialist Tamra Annett explains the dairy farm worked with four tractor dealers including Valley Kuboto and High Valley Rental in Heber to bring the machines to the farm.

“They’re each bringing multiple pieces of farm equipment,” Annett said. “So, it’s your little kids’ paradise, where they can climb over the equipment, they can pose for pictures, get up close and personal. Walk around and kind of get to know those tractors and have fun.”

In addition to food available for purchase the event will have other free activities such as a farm slide.

“We’ll have a sandbox going, face painting,” Annett continued. “We’ll actually give you a hayride from the creamery to the farm to go explore the tractors.”

Entry is five dollars a person and free for those aged three and younger.

KPCW reporter David Boyle covers all things in the Heber Valley as well as sports and breaking news.
