The Park City Youth Sports Alliance has offered scholarship to local athletes since 2010 but thanks to an endowment the number of those scholarships awarded has grown dramatically. David Boyle has more:
The Youth Sports Alliance is in the final stretch of fundraising. Olympian Ted Ligety is helping them make a last push to meet their goal of raising $2 Million for an endowment to help young athletes. KPCW's Renai Bodley has more.

The Thin Air Festival, focused on leadership and innovation, begins Thursday with an event at Park City Live at 6:30 p.m. Organizers have partnered with the Park City Youth Sports Alliance to celebrate Olympians and Paralympians with a homecoming parade on Friday at 5 p.m. A concert follows at the end of the parade route on lower Main Street, which will be closed starting Friday at 5:30 a.m. to set up a stage for the Citizen Cope concert. Ralph Gates, who lived in Park City for nearly 30 years has died. Ralph spent many of his years in Park City gathering oral histories of the "voices of Park City". He was 93 years old. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 2, at 10:00 am at Park City Community Church. Brough has more about Ralph's life:
