Canada's Mikael Kingsbury, center, celebrates his victory, along with second place finisher United States' Nick Page, left, and third place France's Benjamin Cavet, following the men's World Cup freestyle moguls skiing competition, Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, in Waterville Valley, N.H.

The moguls World Cup circuit has returned to North American soil for competitions in New Hampshire, Canada and Utah.

Parkite Nick Page shone on home turf Friday in Waterville, New Hampshire finishing in second place behind Canadian skier Mikael Kingsbury.

On the women's side, University of Utah athlete Jaelin Kauf also earned a silver medal in the first day of competition with teammate Olivia Giaccio finishing third.

Perrine Laffont of France finished first in the women's moguls competition.

Racing in Waterville will continue Saturday with the dual moguls competition.

Eight other Parkites pushed out of the start gate, including Alli Macuga who was announced as the newest member of Deer Valley Resort's team of sponsored athletes.

The 21-year-old mogul skier joins fellow Park City mogul skier and Winter Sports School graduate Page.

Maguca made her World Cup debut in December 2022 where she finished in 12th place.

Last season, Macuga landed on the podium twice, earning a second-place finish in moguls at Almaty and the third-place finish in dual moguls at Alpe d’Huez.

She capped off the 2023-2024 season ranked fifth in the world.

Macuga, Page and the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team will return to home turf for the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup at Deer Valley Feb. 6 through Feb. 8.
