Work will be done overnight on a 3-mile stretch of I-80 spanning from Mountain Dell Exit 134 to Exit 132.
UDOT said most of the work will be done overnight.
First crews will improve drainage along the eastbound lanes from May 15 to June 4. Repaving begins in both directions June 6, including ramps along the project route.
Lane Restrictions (Traffic may be reduced to one lane during these times):
Monday - Friday
Eastbound: 7 p.m. - 4 a.m. | Westbound: 7 p.m. - 6 a.m.
Saturday
Eastbound: 6 p.m. - 5 a.m. | Westbound: 10 p.m. - 8 a.m.
Sunday
Eastbound: 6 p.m. - 7 a.m. | Westbound: 10 p.m. - 9 a.m.
UDOT said the project will preserve the road and increase safety with a smoother, more durable surface.
Road work is expected to affect traffic into July.
