UDOT to host open house for US 40 study

La rampa conecta la autopista 40 con la interestatal 80. — The US 40 study will begin at the Interstate 80 interchange in Summit County and continue to River Road in Wasatch County.

The Utah Department of Transportation is conducting two studies in the Wasatch Back, including safety improvements for the US Route 40 Corridor.

Residents can learn more at an open house Tuesday at Utah Film Studios.

UDOT’s US 40 study includes identifying long-term solutions to improve safety and efficiency on the 13-mile stretch from Silver Summit to River Road.

The meeting will also provide information about the Phoston Spur and Rail Trail Study aiming to improve the existing trail.

No formal presentation is planned. Residents are invited to ask questions and share feedback with UDOT officials from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. June 3.
