According to an arrest affidavit filed May 2 in 4th District Court, Kluser was a patient at the center.
Wasatch County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a stabbing around 6:30 p.m. May 1.
The arresting officer reported surveillance video showed Kluser come up behind the alleged victim, who was sitting on a couch in a common area.
Kluser allegedly stabbed the other man in the neck “at least six times.”
The arresting officer said the attack came “without warning and [appeared] to be unprovoked.”
The man is expected to recover from his wounds.
Kluser made his initial appearance May 5 where his preliminary hearing was scheduled for May 21.
He's is being held without bail in the Wasatch County Jail.
A first-degree felony is punishable by five years to life in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.
