UDOT to complete Kimball Junction left-turn lane project

Crews install a new traffic signal at the state Route 224 and Ute Boulevard intersection.

Summit County drivers will have two left turn lanes from state Route 224 to Ute Boulevard in Kimball Junction starting Monday.

Sunday, the Utah Department of Transportation will power on new signals at state Route 224 and prepare to open the northbound and southbound dual left-turn lanes..

Crews will close lanes and remove the old traffic signals starting at 9 p.m.

The dual left turn lanes will open Monday around 6 a.m.
