Basin Recreation's Youth Crew is going to Boondocks on Saturday, June 1 for ages 10-13 to kick off summer. From 3pm to 9pm, Cost $65 per person. Transportation, food, and drinks will be provided.

Park City Museum will host a lecture called "Edward Ferry , Park City’s Capitalist" given by Sandy Brumley and Michael O’Malley on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 5-6 p.m. held at the Park City Museum Education and Collections Center located at 2079 Sidewinder Drive. Arriving with wealth, Edward Ferry soon amassed a fortune in ways not always met with peaceful disagreement. Teens ages 13 to 18 are welcome to join Park City Library’s Teen Group from 5-7 on Wednesdays Feb. 7 through June 26! A library staff hosts this relaxed setting for teens to chat, learn from guest speakers, eat pizza, talk about books, do activities, and catch up on schoolwork. Volunteers will help with soil amendment, weeding, and pruning the pollinator garden in front of the EcoCenter to maintain it for the growing season. This opportunity is a great way to learn about native and waterwise plants that do well in Park City. Dress for the weather and for gardening. We'll provide the tools and supplies. Park City Library hosts Bilingual Family Storytime-Wednesday May 22 at 6:00 pm. Perfect for those beginning their Spanish learning journey, this interactive, early literacy program will help by building language skills in both English and Spanish through stories and songs. Ages 3-6. Younger siblings are welcome.

As part of the PC Library's financial literacy series, they are offering a seminar on "How to Budget as a Family" on May 22, 2024 from 6-7:00. Topics covered will include setting money goals as a family; how to help kids learn about money; and ways to get the whole family motivated to use budgeting. Free registration is required. If fewer than 10 people register, this class will be held virtually.
The program begins with a panel discussion by twelve service providers followed by break out sessions on specific subjects where the audience can ask detailed questions.
