Snow is vital to life on earth. This hands-on science exhibition is about the nature and wonder of snow and the impact of climate change on our planet. The interactive and exhibition follows snow’s journey from tiny crystals to winter landscapes to spring snowmelt. This is an interactive program to help your preschooler learn to read by building language skills while enjoying stories, songs, crafts, and more. Great for ages 3-6 and their caregivers. From March 18 through 31, Wasatch County Library and Park City Library in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity will pay tribute to President Jimmy and First Lady Rosalyn Carter with an interactive art installation. Each library will display a door symbolizing the Doors of Opportunity opened by the Carters through their work for affordable housing. Grab those Easter Baskets and head over to Willow Creek Park for Basin Recreation’s Easter Egg Scramble and Hunt on Saturday, March 30 at 12:00pm at Willow Creek Park. Get there early to be ready for the hunt. A favorite annual tradition for kids ages 5 and under, this year ages 6-10 will have their own hunt! Enjoy outdoor winter sports at Wasatch State Park in Midway, UT. Enjoy a Dark Sky Celebration Sat. April 6 from 7-10pm. Pre-register at www.friendsofwasatchmountainstatepark.org. The mountain XC-ski course is open for skiing, snowshoeing, and fat-tire bikes. Daily, seasonal, and monthly passes are available for the track fee. Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe rentals are available at the Visitor Center (435-654-1791)
