The Summit County Health Department is offering a free six-week support group to help individuals quit tobacco. Whether they are ready to stop using tobacco or just thinking about it, participants in this program can get the support and knowledge they need. The six-week group will be hosted at the Summit County Health Department at 650 Round Valley Drive in Park City in the downstairs conference room on Wednesdays from 5-6pm beginning April 23.
Come for food, music, and a bunch of fun activities for the whole family! There will have some of their favorite pieces of heavy equipment on display for people to come check out and learn about.
Food trucks will have food available for purchase and all other activities will be free!

Basin Recreation’s reservation system for Willow Creek Park Tennis Courts is now LIVE!
Book your FREE 1.5-hour slots (up to 2 per day) from 6:30am–8pm, May 1–Sept 30, 2025. Reservations open 7 days in advance—lock in your playtime now!
This reservation system is designed to maximize court use and help guarantee playing time, and is only in use for the Tennis Courts at Willow Creek Park - all other courts remain open on a first-come, first served basis.
Brush up on your technique and confidence heading into the summer season with Basin Recreation's adult mountain bike clinics. Taught by certified PMBIA instructors, beginner riders will learn how to better corner around switchbacks, descend safely, ride over obstacles, and learn basic bike maintenance.
Intermediate riders will review the fundamental skills of mountain biking and improve cornering around switchbacks, descend safely on steeper terrain, ride over obstacles and be introduced to drops and jumps.
Basin Recreation adult mountain bike clinics are held from 9am-12pm at the Trailside Bike Park.

Basin Recreation's Masters swimming program provides a structured swim workout focusing on building endurance, developing overall fitness, and improving stroke technique within a supportive group environment.
Masters swimming, for intermediate and advanced level swimmers, runs monthly through October on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-1pm at The Fieldhouse pool.
This talk will explore the causes of bird window collisions and present a systems thinking approach that integrates bird safe window solutions with native plant landscaping. Attendees will learn about various products and strategies that have been proven to reduce bird strikes by up to 95 percent, along with practical, science based methods to promote healthier, more resilient ecosystems in their communities.

After School in the Garden is for rising 1st-6th graders who enjoy the outdoors, like to get dirty, and want to explore food from seed to plate! Children will participate in the daily work to plant and prep our garden, turning soil, sowing seeds then tending and harvesting the food we will use to prep and cook a daily snack. Creative minds will bloom as we connect with nature: learning about and growing plants, creating art, making friends and preparing food!
Mondays and Wednesdays 3:30-5:30, and Fridays 1:00-3:00, starting April 21st and ending May 30th, no sessions 5/23 or 5/26. Sign up for a single drop-in session one day a week or sign up for a five day pass (pick your five days.) Registration for Spring After School in the Garden is now open.
