Basin Recreation is offering three types of "Learn to Social Dance" classes and programs starting Tuesday, May 7. Learn to Social Dance is perfect for beginners and will teach basic partner dance techniques, West Coast Swing, Hustle, and more. Some experience is suggested for Basin's Dance Party, where instructors teach solo and partner dancing to Top 40 Hits, Country, Blues, Slow Dance, and more. For intermediate dancers, Basin is offering West Coast Swing which covers intermediate partnering technique, patterns, styling, and musicality.

Interested in becoming a lifeguard but need your certification? Basin Recreation is hosting a Lifeguard Certification Course. This is a hybrid course with all lectures taking place online prior to the in-person certifications, which are scheduled for May 31, June 1, June 14 and June 15. Participants will learn how to act in emergency situations both in and out of the water at aquatic facilities with topics covering water rescue skills, surveillance and recognition, CPR and AED, and more.

Basin Recreation's Prep Swim Team is back starting Monday, April 29! This 'pre-team' program is perfect for swimmers ages 7-14 who have finished traditional swim lessons and are looking to continue to improve stroke technique or in preparation for joining a competitive swim team.

Park City Library formally requests the honor of your company for high tea on Saturday, May 18th at either 11am OR 2pm. Kimball Art's exhibit "Under Construction" will be open from March 8-May 26 from 10:00-5:00 pm. The exhibit brings together the work of two renowned built landscape photographers. Lewis Baltz (1945-2014), captured Park City's rapid growth in the late 1970s as his images of Prospector Park describe its dramatic transformation from a former mining town into a thriving ski resort.
