Romney: All US Fought For In Iraq Could Vanish

PARK CITY (AP) - Republican Mitt Romney is criticizing President Barack Obama's handling of foreign policy.

Romney is telling financial backers at his annual summit in Utah that what the U.S. fought for in Iraq is "on the cusp of vanishing".

The 2012 GOP presidential nominee says that the foreign policy agenda pushed by Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has been a "monumental bust."

Romney says as a result, Syria is in its third year of civil war, North Korea has carried out nuclear missile tests and Russia has captured Crimea.

He says Obama failed to secure an agreement to retain troops in Iraq and "tragically" all that the U.S. fought for in the Middle East conflict could vanish.
