NAC Signs 50 Year Lease with PCMR

The NAC reported this week that it has signed an unprecedented 50-year land lease with Park City Mountain. According to a press release, the NAC aims to double its current number of lessons at its mountain location with year-round program expansion.

The NAC started at Park City Mountain more than 30 years ago. The new agreement solidifies the commitment by both parties to work together to provide their guests of all abilities with accessibility to the mountain. MAC CEO Gail Barille said the opportunity is monumental for her organization and reinforces their  ability to provide programs to those in need not only for a day or week, but throughout their entire life.

The NAC expects to double its current 5,500 lessons its conducts each year by providing programs year-round. Lessons will include activities such as mountain biking, hiking as well as additional camps to its existing lineup.

Bill Rock CEO of Park City Mountain said the NAC is an important part of both the local community and destination visitation.  He added the community is fortunate to host a facility and team that provides such outstanding services to kids, veterans and families with different abilities.

Barille expects the new lease will help resolve its current capacity challenges and allow the organization to begin hosting larger groups.
