POWDR Offering Heliskiing

POWDR

In the world of multi-resort pass offerings, Park City’s Powdr Corps is looking to stay competitive with both the IKON and Epic passes and will now offer helicopter accessed skiing.

In a statement POWDR announced it has acquired Powderbird and formed a new partnership with Cloudveil Mountain Heli can now offer more than 150,000 acres of backcountry skiing on U.S. Forest Service and private terrain throughout the Uinta, and Wasatch mountain ranges.

Powderbird has offered backcountry heliskiing in the local mountains since 1973. The company will continue to be based out of Snowbird—which is owned by the Cumming family, but not part of Powdr’s resort portfolio.

Powderbird will offer guests direct mountain access from the Salt Lake City airport as well as out of Heber, West Bountiful and Snowbird.
