The Park City Board of Education unanimously approved a $6 million land purchase during their meeting on Tuesday.
The seller is Silver Summit Land Company, and the buyer is the Park City School District.
The nearly 56 acres of un-improved land is located adjacent to US-40, south of the Trailside neighborhood, near the trailhead to Round Valley. The contract states the school district intends to develop the Property as a public school, education-related services, and/or workforce housing. However, during the meeting, Park City School District Business Administrator Todd Hauber said there are no immediate plans for development.
Marian Crosby of Berkshire Hathaway represented the Seller and the contract states she is entitled to a commission of 6% of the purchase price upon closing.
