Two Taken To Hospital After Single-Car Crash In Echo Canyon

North Summit Fire District

Early Sunday afternoon, two people went to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries after a crash in Echo Canyon on Interstate 80.

They were driving westbound around 1:00 when their car flipped near mile marker 170. No other cars were involved, and Utah Highway Patrol didn’t report a cause or details about the victims.

Utah Highway Patrol, Park City and North Summit Fire, and a Summit County Sheriff’s deputy responded. Both patients went to the University of Utah hospital, one by helicopter.

Utah Highway Patrol told KPCW the most recent reports said the patients’ injuries were still not life threatening as of Sunday evening.
