Joshua Tree National Park is known for its iconic trees, but Joshua tree habitat is expected to shrink dramatically because of climate change.

Dr. Kimberly Nicholas, an associate professor of sustainability science at Lund in Sweden, shares her book, "Under the Sky We Make: How to Be Human in a Warming World."

Then ecologist James Cornett talks about his new book "The California Deserts: Then and Now," which uses repeat photography to examine how climate change has impacted arid landscapes.
