Chris Cherniak and guest co-host Shirin Spangenberg chat with Mary Christina Smith, the project manager for the Summit County Power Works – the non-profit organization formed to vie for a five million dollar prize being offered by Georgetown University to the community that can reduce its residential electricity and natural gas consumption the most over a two year period. The competition kicked off January first and continues until December 31st of 2016. Smith gave details on SCPW’s efforts to date and what plans and programs they have in store to continue our front running status.
