Hubble Space Telescope Celebrates Its 30th

Joining Lynn and John on Cool Science Radio this week is Dr. Jennifer Wiseman, senior astrophysicist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. Dr. Wiseman serves as the senior project scientist for the Hubble Space Telescope. When asked about what the universe looks like, you probably think of Hubble images. The Hubble Space Telescope has inspired scientists and the public alike with its views of the universe for three decades. This year, Hubble celebrated its 30th anniversary, and NASA is marking the occasion by releasing a set of newly processed images from its archives.
