Parkite Makes His Appearance on American Idol This Weekend

ABC/Christopher Willard

A 20-year-old Parkite will make his appearance on American Idol Sunday.

Wyatt Pike began his audition process back in November. After a number of zoom calls with producers, he was asked to fly out to Ojai, California to audition for the judges.

Pike has been doing gigs around Park City for years and released his debut album in 2020. He is a current student at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

During his American Idol audition, he performed an original song, “Best for You,” for the judges. And while he can’t say if he made it past the first round until the episode airs, he did say it was “awesome.”

You can watch his audition air for the first time this Sunday night at 8/7 C.
