Saturday COVID-19 Update: Confirmed Cases Top 2200

The Utah Department of Health updated its newest COVID-19 numbers. There are 2,206 confirmed cases statewide, up 104 from Friday.

Summit County has 300 cases, an increase of four from Friday and 25 patients have been hospitalized.

Wasatch County has 98 confirmed cases, up two from Friday. Five have been hosptialized. Wasatch County reported its first death related to COVID-19 on Friday, a male in his 60s. 

UDOH says 42,546 people have been tested to date.
