Cool Science Radio welcomes Charlie Precourt, a veteran of four space flights—including two as mission commander—and has logged more than 932 hours in space. Precourt was also deputy program manager for the International Space Station, chief of the astronaut corps and director of operations for NASA at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia. He is currently the Vice President and General Manager of the Propulsion Systems Division for Northrop Grumman’s flight systems group where they design and build very large and powerful rockets.

Lynn Ware Peek is a long-time contributor to KPCW. She joined the station in 2008 with Tales from the Wasatch Back, was a reporter from 2012 to 2016, and co-hosts and produces two of KPCW’s Public Affairs Hour shows, The Mountain Life, on health and lifestyle, on Wednesdays and Cool Science Radio, tackling science and technology every Thursday.
