Katy Wang, director of Park City Film previews upcoming screenings at the library's Jim Santy Auditorium and has an update on the inaugural Park City Film Festival. After a Labor Day holiday break, Wang says screening resume this weekend with "The Cycle of Love," a documentary about a 23-year-old street artist from Delhi who travels 6,000 miles by bicycle to reunite with his true love. Among the films on deck are "The Marching Band," "Tony," and "Bad Apples." The Made in Utah series also returns Sept. 24, with "Fire Tender," "Comfort Food" and "The Book of George." She says October's first Park City Film Festival is shaping up to be a success. Passes for the Oct. 25-25 event sold out within the first week and about 50% of individual tickets are also sold. Panel discussions are also planned, with seats for just 75 of the theater's 424 seats. Wang says community support for the new events includes sponsorships and grants from the Park City Chamber, Summit County RAP taxes and restaurant tax programs.
