Summit County Sustainability Director Emily Quinton provides an update on the status of the Utah Renewable Communities program.
The Utah Renewable Communities (URC) program, formed by 19 cities and counties, aims to provide clean energy options to residents and businesses.
The program, enabled by the 2019 Community Clean Energy Act, will acquire clean energy resources like solar, wind and hydro, with a preference for in-state projects.
