Allie Leavitt stands on top of Bear Claw at Sundance resort and holds Cacina, a golden eagle that was cared for and rehabilitated by Patti Richards’ organization, The Great Basin Wildlife Rescue.

After months of expert care by Patti Richards and her amazing volunteers, a majestic golden eagle spread its wings once more, soaring into the open skies from Bear Claw Peak at Sundance Resort.

The release marks a successful collaboration between Great Basin Wildlife Rescue and local conservationists celebrating the bird's full recovery and return to its natural habitat.
