The Complicated World of Water Rights

Journalist David Owen, whose been a staff writer for the New Yorker for more than three decades, joins the show to discuss his book "Where the Water Goes: Life and Death Along the Colorado River".

Owen walks us through the patchwork of engineering marvels, byzantine legal agreements, aging infrastructures, and agricultural uses pertaining to the Colorado river and their subsequent effects.
