With just a day to go before Epic Pass prices go up, Vail Resorts announced pass holders will be able to ski one more Austrian resort next season – Sölden.

Sölden is the site of the first FIS alpine World Cup ski races of the season. Located in Tyrol about 50 miles from Innsbruck Airport, Sölden is known for its skiing on a seamlessly connected glacier and mountain ski area offering reliable snow from autumn through spring.

The resort boasts 31chailifts and 33 on-mountain ski huts. For the upcoming winter, the resort is replacing two chairlifts with new high-capacity lifts.

Epic Pass holders will have five days of access to Sölden. Vail announced last week that Epic Pass holders would also have access to four other Austrian resorts this upcoming season: Saalbach, Kitzsteinhorn, Mayrhofen and Hintertux.

Vail is not purchasing the Austrian resorts, only granting passholders access.
